Job Requirements / Description
- Setting up and sending all emails and SMS (text messages) using the platforms.
- Operationally executing the day-to-day technical aspects of our internal marketing systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mobile Studio, Meta Platforms).
- Managing, building, and targeting data within Salesforce Marketing Cloud: create journeys, automations, segments, data extensions, audiences.
- Ensuring that all lists, tagging, automation, and journeys, etc., are accurate and maintained.
- Aiding in the evaluation and implementation of new technical tools, i.e., user acceptance testing.
- Collaborating with marketing, stakeholders, and agencies; providing insights and recommendations based on data.
- Preparing email and customer acquisition reporting and analytics weekly; taking part in benchmarking and analysis of performance.
- Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education related to marketing or a combination of any equivalent education and experience.
- Experience with an email platform; specifically, campaign setup, list segmentation, personalization, and automation. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience or AMPScript, HTML, and SQL are an asset.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful.
- Experience and ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and CASL legislation.
- Proficient in Excel, MS Office programs, and Google Analytics 4.
- An excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as email sender score, deliverability, and sender reputation.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter that works well independently, as well as part of a team, in an open, collaborative environment without rigidly defined boundaries of “who does what”.
