Nursery assistant

Premier Recruitment are working with a lovely medium sized nursery based in Datchet which have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Childcare candidate to apply as a Nursery assistant or Room leader. You will need a level 3 Childcare qualification to apply and no experience is required. Roles available: Nursery assistant, Salary: £28,000 - £29,700 depending on experience. You have an option to pick 1 out of 4 of these shift times moving forward: Option 1: 5 days per week: 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, 1 hour unpaid lunch break, which is working 40 hours per week at £28,000 Option 2: 5 days per week: 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, half hour unpaid lunch break, so 42.5 hours per week at £29,700 Option 3: Work 4.5 days per week: Monday, 1:30pm-6pm (no break) and Tue-Fri, 8am-6pm; 1 hour unpaid lunch break, which is working 40.5 hours per week at £28,500. Option 4: Work 4.5 days per week: Monday, 1:30pm-6pm (no break) and Tue-Fri, 8:00am-5:30pm; half an hour unpaid lunch break, which is working 40.5 hours per week at £28,500 Job duties: - Support the Room leader if you're the Nursery assistant with the planning of learning based activities. - Ensure Children are supervised at all times with the correct ratios. - Ensure the correct Safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times - Be comfortable to liase with parents to ensure the best level of learning and feedback for continued progress for the children.
