Tewkesbury Abbeyis one of England's most beautiful & Majestic Churches!  Benefits: Beautiful countryside setting Continued professional development Exciting growth plans Hybrid working model As a Head of Finance you will: Manage & Lead the finance function of the Abbey, supporting staff in their development Take the lead on monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy within your work Be responsible for management accounts and annual preparations ahead of audits Lead on the implementation of a strategic financial plan that supports the Abbey's development, mission and goals Manage funding sources, including grants and donations, and oversee investment strategies to maximise returns To be successful as a Head of Finance, you will: Hold a professional accounting qualification or similar level of expertise gained by experience Have previous experience in financial management and leadership Be proficient in the use of Sage50 Have an analytical approach, with a strategic mindset Experience of working within the charitable/not for profit sector would be advantageous, however, not essential. In return, we are offering a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time permanent position based in Tewkesbury.
