As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for all teaching duties, including planning and marking. As the successful Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will be: To understand the academic abilities of all students and adapt lesson plans accordingly at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. A-Level teaching experience is desirable, but not essential.  To ensure students’ active participation in lessons and encourage whole School participation, such as extracurricular activities. To use all available resources to deliver high quality and engaging lessons.  Promote partnership working to increase and share best practices. As a successful Maths Teacher, you should: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS. Have a relevant maths-orientated degree at 2:2 or higher. Be able to provide two teaching references from within the last 2 years. Be up to date with the GCSE grading system. Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education. GSL Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
