Planner Permanent – Full-time Planner - £50,000 + £4800 Car allowance SWW region Applicants will need previous experience of planning in the Water/Wastewater industry and should hold a valid driving license and ideally be resident in the Southwest Region Planner Job Description Summary: The Planner will ensure project plans are achievable, monitored, and updated accurately. Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, responsibilities include: * Creating and updating integrated work programmes (design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover). * Monitoring performance against baseline programmes and identifying potential issues. * Minimizing risk by identifying the critical path. * Producing look-ahead programmes and enabling resource planning. * Advising on NEC contract obligations. * Reporting progress and contributing to Progress Reports. * Assisting in contract and progress review meetings. * Managing procurement schedules for materials and equipment. * Preparing As-Built programmes and delay programmes for compensation costings. * Supporting the Senior Planning Manager as needed. Requirements: * Experience in the Water/Wastewater industry. * Background in Civil Engineering, M&E, or Building. * Understanding of NEC Contracts. * Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office. * Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of Commercial, Health & Safety, and Environmental requirements
