Adult Support Worker

Staffpower Healthcare are recruiting for multiple Support Workers to support adults in residential settings, intergraded care, and nursing homes across the North East of England. We aim to offer roles within your geographical areas such as Gateshead, Sunderland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, Middlesbrough and Redcar. What we can offer you: * Competitive hourly rate * Holiday pay and enrolment into our pension * Weekly pay * Enhanced rates of pay for bank holidays * Support from your line manager * Training The role: * Supporting vulnerable adults with a range of needs including, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues or elderly, these duties and responsibilities cannot totally define or encompass all tasks which may be required. * You will be expected to work and care in a way that helps promote the individual’s independence. * You will be required to follow a specific care plan for each individual in your care which will demonstrate the needs of the individual, their likes dislikes and how they want to live their lives. * You will be in a team of healthcare professionals across the board from other support workers to social workers and medical services. * You will be supplying the best care to each individual; this must be person centred and promote independence and support achieving the best possible outcomes for the individual.
