Highways Site Manager

Job Title: Highways Site Manager Salary: Up to £53,000 plus van provided Location: Leeds (Area 12)   Role:   The Site Manager plays a pivotal role in my client's project delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules, costs, and quality standards. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, they collaborate with the Contract Manager to meet client deadlines while mitigating risks.   Responsibilities (including but not limited to):   - Assisting Project Managers in assembling scheme as-built information. - Ensuring all work aligns with specified standards and complies with CDM 2015 regulations. - Conducting and documenting weekly Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) inspections. - Implementing necessary method statements, risk assessments, and permits. - Delivering start-of-shift briefings, including Toolbox Talks and Safety Briefings. - Ensuring the fitness-for-purpose and daily inspection of all on-site plant, machinery, and equipment. - Keeping Project/Contract Managers informed of any changes to the project scope. - Providing mentorship and support to new team members. - Maintaining comprehensive Daily Diaries, detailing resource usage, site conditions, progress, and incidents or issues. - Ensuring on-site resource levels, particularly materials, are adequately maintained.   Person Specification:   - Proven experience in Site Management within Highways/Civil Engineering. - Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety legislation.   My Client Benefits:   - Generous Holiday Allowance. - Pension Scheme with salary sacrifice option. - Referral Scheme. - Death In Service Benefit (twice the annual salary). - Access to Online Rewards Platform. - Company Van - Group Income Protection. - Working away allowance and uplift for working nights. - Enhanced Family Friendly Policies. - Long service awards (additional leave) and extra Bank Holidays.   FOOTNOTE: If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
