About the role
We’re hiring a Director of Product Design to help shape the future of Dashlane. As a Design Director at Dashlane, you will oversee design for the Growth domain. You will manage your team’s career development and uphold Dashlane’s high bar for quality. You and your team will design modular, end-to-end onboarding and growth experiences. You will drive our core product’s design and empower small- and medium-sized businesses and the people behind them.
Location:
You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee design for the Growth domain.
- Manage team’s career development and uphold high design quality.
- Design modular, end-to-end onboarding and growth experiences.
- Drive core product design and empower small- and medium-sized businesses.
- Report directly to the Head of UX and partner with cross-functional peers.
- Lead a team, provide guidance, and facilitate cross-functional partnerships.
- Promote outstanding design practice, influence product strategy, and ensure product execution.
- Provide mentorship and champion the craft and career development of your team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Design management.
What the ideal candidate will have but is not visible on a resume:
- Experience with SaaS B2B Product-led growth (PLG) or onboarding experience, new user experience optimization.
- Experience managing product designers and the ability to build, mentor and motivate teams.
- A diverse portfolio of work personally shipped and shipped, along with examples of work directed and delivered by your team.
- Experience synthesizing company-level goals to help teams across multiple products to create remarkable design experiences.
- Influence the overarching strategy for Growth in collaboration with engineering and product management leadership.
- Participate in design discipline-wide conversations and create deliverables on how to improve process, operations and tools.
