Automation Architect

Role: Test Automation Architect We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Architect to drive the automation strategy across our software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies, and will be responsible for architecting scalable and robust automation solutions that enhance the quality and efficiency of our software releases. Responsibilities: Automation Strategy Development: Define and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with the organization's goals, ensuring the effective use of automation across various stages of the development and release cycles. Analysis of Tech Stack: Analysis of project Tech Stack to propose compatible automation testing framework. Framework Architecture and Design: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Tool Selection and Integration: Evaluate, select, and integrate the most suitable test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Postman, etc.) to meet the specific needs of the project. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that automated tests run seamlessly with each code change, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab Cl, or similar. Testing Across Platforms: Ensure that automation strategies cover GCP, including web, API, and microservices, and adapt to new technologies as needed. Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure a cohesive approach to automation that supports agile development practices and facilitates shift-left testing.
