Job Description:
This job will be responsible for creating detailed and innovative house plans tailored to the specific desires and needs of our luxury clientele as well as speculative crafted homes. You will collaborate closely with clients, company president, and construction teams to ensure every design meets our high standards of quality and luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop custom home designs and floor plans based on client requirements and preferences.
Create detailed architectural drawings, including elevations, sections, and construction details.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
Work with architects and engineers to ensure designs are structurally sound and meet all building codes and regulations.
Revise plans based on client feedback and regulatory requirements.
Utilize advanced design software to produce high-quality, accurate plans.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in luxury home building.
Assist in the selection of finishes, fixtures, and other design elements to complement the overall home design.
Ensure all designs adhere to company standards and client expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential design, preferably in the luxury home market.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and other design tools.
Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Portfolio showcasing previous custom home designs and projects.
