Director of Construction
As a member of the Management Team, the Director of Construction ensures the smooth running, profitability, and successful completion of all construction projects for our clients across Canada. This role involves acting as a resource person for technical aspects of projects and managing Project Managers to achieve optimal performance and success. The Director of Construction is responsible for maintaining high project quality, stakeholder satisfaction, and efficient resource management on construction sites.
- Oversee technical decisions, costs, timing, and objectives for all projects
- Supervise subcontractor selection and coordination on multiple projects
- Participate in project Post-Mortem meetings and share conclusions with the team
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Collaborate with owners on employee performance evaluations in the Production Department
Requirements:
- Minimum 10-15 years of construction experience in relevant industries
- Strong Leadership, Time-management, and Organizational skills
- Bilingual proficiency (oral and written)
- Excellent communication skills, Planning/Organizing abilities, and Project Management expertise
