The client is a dynamic and agile generic pharmaceutical company that provides high-quality products and services. They are excited to announce an opening for a National Accounts Manager position. This role involves developing relationships within National Key accounts and buying groups.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and strengthen our Vendor Partner relationship with designated key national/regional customers.
- Understand customer strategies and build strong relationships to maximize opportunities and create customer and consumer value.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet or exceed annual budgeted growth objectives.
- Analyze data, develop insights, and execute business plans to deliver growth objectives.
- Identify and help implement go-to-market strategies for new products.
- Lead the development of customer-specific sales strategies.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts on a period, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales Reconciliation, and Finance to ensure effective execution.
- Attend industry conferences and manage network contacts.
- Oversee the provincial formulary submission process for new and existing products.
- Ensure all aspects of provincial submissions and product pricing are complete and submitted timely.
- Promote an environment that fosters collaboration and cooperation within the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited Colleges and Universities.
- Minimum five years of Pharmaceutical or Health & Wellness sales experience.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, presentation, written, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong follow-through, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and resourcefulness in resolving issues.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfort with financial modelling.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, and work under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong presence with a solid work ethic.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach.
