About the jobSuntory Beverage and Food Europe (SBFE) spends circa €375m in Sales and General Admin (SG&A) expense on an annual basis. The Regional Finance Business Partner role reports directly into the SBFE Cost Transformation Lead. It is part of the wider SBFE Cost Control Team of 8 responsible for managing the Region’s total SG&A spend. The Regional FBP will assume responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of the RHQ P&L. On top of this, the role will act as the chief point of contact for several of SBFE’s core functions and have direct liaison with Budget Owners/ Regional ExCom on a monthly basis to provide detailed analysis of functional cost versus budget, tracking of key risks and opportunities and the development of solid forecasting and budgets. This role will also play a pivotal role the training and upskilling of our non-finance business partners.Preparation of monthly management accounts for Regional Head Quarters.Creation of monthly power point decks highlighting functional performance versus budget for presentation to Functional Budget Owners and Regional Leadership Teams.Reinforce the “singled point of contact” framework for SG&A business partnering. Take ownership of several regional functions with respect to the analysis of actual cost performance vs budget and partner with non-finance colleagues to guide and control spend.Work with non-finance business partners on the forecasting and budgeting of RHQ expenses.Partner with Functional Heads to align Mid Term and Annual Operating Plans.Take ownership of Regional FTE reporting and the communication of same to the wider business.Support the training and development of non-finance colleagues in relation to all things finance (General Accounting concepts, internal processes etc.)Support the role out of the wider Finance Transformation agenda as and when required and the ongoing evolution of SG&A dashboards.About SuntorySuntory is a Japanese company and the world’s third biggest player in the drinks industry. What you bring to the table• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).• Relevant experience training within industry or large practice.• Maturity and resilience to partner and gain credibility with very senior members of the SBFE team.• Discreet with the ability to manage confidential information. • Outgoing and personable with strong communication skills.• Self-motivated with the energy and drive to take on new challenges and issues to improve the business. • Growth mindset highly collaborative.
