Overview of the Role/ Key responsibilities:Investment/DevelopmentEngage the agents network and screen the market to find new investment/development opportunities in line with the agreed sectors/funds’ strategies;Financial modelling, organizing and preparing client presentations, helping manage transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions;Participate in the due diligence efforts performed during the acquisition phase (commercial, ESG, legal, tax, etc);Assist with liquidity events, including refinancing or disposal.Asset ManagementResponsibility for the performance and the operating management of directly managed assets.Implementation of the agreed asset management initiatives, capex programme, lease re-gears and renewals.Direct involvement and responsibilities for new and ongoing lease negotiations including communicating with third-party leasing teams, in-house counsel and third-party legal teams;Prepare and complete annual business plans and asset management initiatives.Instruction, coordination and supervision of external professional teams (incl. property/SC managers, asset managers, leasing agents, communication agencies, lawyers, project manager, etc.).Prepare quarterly reporting to investors, analysis and explanation of variances.Assist in data collection of quarterly/annual property valuation process and review them.Collect and ensure the reliability of data that relate to properties under management.Frequent travels required.Manage the bank financing (compliance reporting, monitor debt covenants, debt service, performance updates).Liaise with property appraisers on the quarterly valuation process, providing relevant updates, reviewing methodology and validating outputs.Maintaining and applying strong local market knowledge (i.e., competition, supply pipeline, demand drivers, major tenants, market absorption).Qualifications & Experience RequiredStrong experience of the logistics sector and both core and value add transactions.Master’s degree from a top French/European Business School or University.Knowledge and experience of local law concerning lease agreement, legal real estate environment and notions in construction/urbanism.Demonstrable interest in ESG investing in Real Estate and its application within asset management.First experience and knowledge of real estate asset management.Understanding of tenant mix, performance, and operations.Financial, analytical, and modelling skills (experienced user of Excel).Experience of Argus software desirable.Competencies RequiredInitiative and self-motivation.Fluency in English.Positive can-do attitude, with the drive and ambition to deliver expectations.Ability to interact effectively with a dispersed and diverse stakeholder group.Strong communication, both written and oral.Persuading and influencing.Teamwork.Driving License.Act in line with Nuveen’s Company Values.This role requires no regulatory designation.Nuveen is committed to providing equal opportunity across all employment practices and we believe our employees have a right to a diverse and inclusive workplace.Nuveen welcomes and encourages application from people with disabilities.
