Under the supervision of the Director of Payroll and Benefits, US, we seek an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee semi-monthly payroll processing and related tax reporting. Applicants must understand federal/state tax laws, labor laws, benefits, leave of absence, and worker’s compensation. HRIS systems knowledge (Ceridian Dayforce, ADP) is beneficial. This role ensures accurate, timely payroll for 400+ US employees.Advantages- 3 weeks vacation- possibility of 100% remote work- Collective insurance plan- Great work environmentResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:? Payroll:? Manage the day-to-day operations of the US payroll department, including coordinatingwith other departments and affiliated agency entities.? This position will take on payroll functions such as gathering/auditing payroll backup(timesheets), auditing payroll transactions, assisting and researching payrollissues/discrepancies, and participate in the organization’s month-end, quarterly, and/oryear-end close.? Ensure that all payroll-related data is accurate, complete, and current, and process allpayroll-related transactions in a timely and efficient manner.? Basic understanding of accounting practices and terms—this position will work closelywith the different entities’ finance departments.? Assist with tracking and completing garnishment notices, unemployment claims, andverification of employment forms.? Manage current and implement new payroll policies, procedures, and systems to ensurecompliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.? Work closely with finance, human resources, and legal.? Ensure that payroll processes are aligned with the company’s goals and policies.? Stay current with changes in payroll laws, state and city regulations/ordinances, and bestpractices, and implement any necessary changes to policies and procedures.? Review and validate payroll tax deposits and filings each pay period and quarter.? Prepare and present ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll-related reports andanalyses as needed.? Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies/errors.? Partake in annual Financial Audit? Leadership and Management:? Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.? Supervise future potential payroll staff.? Work closely with the Payroll & Benefits Director to ensure consistency and accuracy ofsystem data.Qualifications? Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.? Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll administration? Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.? Proficient in HRIS/HCM and payroll software systems.? Proficient in Ceridian/Dayforce and experience with ADP a plus.?
