digital services in Nova Scotia, and make a real difference to Nova Scotians  The Mission: (About the Opportunities) The CSDS is in search of two Senior Executive Director positions: Executive Director of User Support ServicesExecutive Director of Enterprise Technology.  Both leaders will join a dynamic senior leadership team and be responsible for delivering seamless digital experiences across the entire spectrum of government services, including healthcare.  As visionary digital leaders, you will lead the design, delivery, continuous improvement, and support of a wide variety of digital services and user-centric experiences to civil servants and healthcare workers, not only within hospitals but across all government departments, ensuring operational excellence and service quality throughout Nova Scotia's public sector.  Your Role & Its Impact (Primary Responsibilities) Executive Director of User Support Services: Develop & Lead Service Strategy: Lead the development of a digitally enabled service strategy and roadmap that focuses on public servants’ user needs. IT Support Services: Shape the future of province-wide IT support services, including strategic oversight for desktop support and service desk operations across healthcare and all other government departments. Innovative Initiatives: Lead initiatives to transform users’ IT support experiences within hospitals and government entities, ensuring service quality and operational efficiency. Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders across all sectors of government to align IT support services with sector needs and strategic objectives. Service Desk Improvements: Champion improvements for our service desk, enhancing responsiveness, user satisfaction, and support for all government employees.Executive Director of Enterprise Technology: Digital Communication Services: Set the vision for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital communication services such as telephone, digital signage, and print services across government and healthcare. User-Centric Products: Deliver products for individuals and teams to enable and accelerate modern workplace productivity, promote awareness and adoption of digital collaboration tools, and provide support for modern digital collaboration experiences. Contract and Vendor Management: Provide expertise on Contract and Vendor Management, ensuring best value for investments, vendor compliance, and performance targets are met, while mitigating risks and fostering strategic partnerships. Service Excellence: Champion service excellence across all aspects of IT service delivery, implementing ‘white-glove’ service standards and practices. Continuous Improvement: Innovate and continuously improve IT service and contract management practices, aligning with the organization's digital transformation objectives. Who We Are Looking For Collaborative Leadership:A leader who excels in engagement and Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.•    Formal education is valued, but equivalent work experience, training and certifications are equally considered. Leadership Experience:•    Extensive experience in IT support management or technology leadership roles.•    Proven track record of leading and managing large, multidisciplinary teams. Strategic and Operational Planning:•    Strong skills in strategic planning and operational execution.•    Experience in developing and implementing IT service delivery strategies.Technical Expertise:•    In-depth knowledge of digital communication services, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.•    Experience with modern workplace productivity tools and digital collaboration platforms. Stakeholder Management:•    Exceptional skills in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.•    Strong communication and negotiation skills to foster partnerships and collaborations. Problem-Solving
