Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Tewkesbury Contract Details: Temp To Perm, Full-Time Hours Salary: £11.60 per hour About Our Client: Are you a motivated and reliable individual seeking a challenging yet rewarding career in warehousing? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic client based in Tewkesbury and play a vital role in the smooth functioning of their warehouse operations. This is an immediate start for the right candidate, working Monday to Friday day shifts. Responsibilities: - Stock Management: Receiving, inspecting, and organising incoming stock, as well as conducting regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy. - Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading delivery vehicles, adhering to proper handling and safety procedures. - Quality Control: Inspecting products for any damages or defects and reporting any issues to the relevant departments. - Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and hazard-free to ensure a safe working environment. - Collaboration: Cooperating with team members and supervisors to optimise work-flow and achieve operational goals. Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): A valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT Licence is essential for this role. - Physical Fitness: This role involves heavy lifting, so candidates must be physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks. - Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in order processing and stock management. - Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential attributes for a Warehouse Operative. - Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to adhering to safety regulations and best practises to maintain a secure working environment.
