HGV Class 1 Drivers

HGV Class 1 Drivers – Milk Tanker Work * Haverfordwest * 12 hour shifts * Start times between 01:00am -10:00pm * £14.50- £18.90 per hour (day and night rate) 24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client that we are representing in the Haverfordwest area, on an ongoing basis. We are looking for experienced and reliable drivers, who are available for assessment and induction immediately. This will be delivering bulk milk to dairies nationwide. The position of HGV Class 1 Driver involves: * Making deliveries and collections to and from businesses * Planning route on a day to day basis. * Ensuring deliveries and collections are made on time * Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone. * Working closely with the network hubs. * Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations. * Attending regular training sessions. Essential skills for Class 1 Day Driver: * Must have a UK Class 1 Driving Licence. * Previous bulk liquid driving experience is desired * Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. * Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. * Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. * Working to deadlines. * Confident, polite and a team player. * Good geographical knowledge
