We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a fast-paced and innovative team within the food manufacturing sector. If you’re passionate about driving projects from concept to completion and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you!This position offers a hybrid structure and can be based in any of our clients' Greater Toronto Area, Winnipeg, or Brockville offices.Key Responsibilities:Project Ownership: Lead full-cycle project development and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communication.Budget Oversight: Ensure projects stay on budget while identifying cost-saving measures. Maintain financial responsibility without compromising quality or safety.Compliance & Safety: Guarantee all projects meet food safety standards and adhere to local, provincial, and federal regulations.Equipment & Tech Upgrades: Spearhead the procurement, installation, and commissioning of new food processing equipment. Engage with vendors and stakeholders for smooth transitions.Risk Management: Anticipate risks and proactively create contingency plans to keep projects on track.Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements through lean manufacturing principles, reducing bottlenecks, downtime, and waste while increasing overall efficiency.Reporting: Manage all project documentation, ensuring transparency and regular updates to senior management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.5 to 10 years of project management experience, ideally in food manufacturing or similar sectors.Strong leadership in commissioning and starting up automated process equipment.Familiarity with project management tools and software.Proven ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel up to 30% and flexibility for off-hours work.Strong understanding of Health & Safety, environmental regulations, and building codes.If you’re ready to take on a role where leadership, innovation, and collaboration are key, we’d love to hear from you!
