CNC (Vertical Borer / Lathe)   Atherton £40,000 On Day Shift & £46,000 On Afternoon Shift + Benefits Package Day Shift – Monday to Thursday 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, Friday 6:45 am -2.15 pm Afternoon shift – Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm to 12:00am CNC Vertical Borer required for a well-established and stable heavy engineering company. 2 shift patterns and wage rates are on offer for this varied and interesting role. The role involves programming, setting and operating large CNC vertical borers / lathes. The machines are Fanuc controlled and you will write new and edit existing programmes. The company operates in a heavy engineering sector producing large and heavy components: The CNC Vertical Borer / Role: * Programming, setting and operating medium to large capacity CNC lathes/Vertical borers (over 2.5 metre swing and components up to 10 tonnes) using Fanuc Controls. * Writing new programs from technical drawings and editing existing programs. The CNC Vertical Borer / Candidate: * Experience of programming, setting and operating CNC Vertical Borers / Lathes * Experience of using canned cycles on Fanuc controls
