The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong business development skills such as prospecting, understanding of client needs and related duties as they pertain to equipment financing. The Business Development Manager is responsible for building new relationships with customers and vendors within a specified territory.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the sale of products or services within a specified district or territoryManage relationships and plans for prospective clients; may include focused calling and pipeline management activitiesIndependently manage objectives set out by managementSelect and develop sources, leads and contactsParticipate in local trade shows and sales eventsMake decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectivesAnalyze financial and related data to determine the needs of the client for proper structuring of the Bank's products and servicesEnsure completion proper documentations for loans and leasesEvaluate and structure loan requests, determine appropriate documentation for approved loans.Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsAdvise clients, where possible, on business management and other financial mattersCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsQualifications & Skills4+ years of related experience in the financial or equipment financing industries is required3+ years of Equipment Finance selling experience is preferredDegree in Business, MBA or equivalent is preferredAdaptable and organized in a fast-paced office environmentPunctual with good customer service and prioritization skillsStrong written and verbal communication for creating correspondence, documents, and reportsTeam player with attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to multi-task are essentialWork both independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to continuously learn and adapt to new procedures and policiesWhat we have to offer:Aggressive compensation structures to choose from with an ability to increase commission percentage.
