They are renowned for machining, assembly, inspection, fabrication and sheet metal Manufacturing parts for precision aerospace companies, you will become part of a well-respected company within the UK. The position will be based at the site in Central Derby. Our client currently employ over 200 people at the site, we are now looking to add contract support to the work force to assist with the growth of the business. Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks (disclosure & barring service) may be required. Please also note at this time we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates. Responsibilities and Duties are required for the Quality Inspector role: * Have experience working with various inspection equipment - Height gauges, Callipers, Vernier’s, micrometres etc * Able to conduct internal audits and provide 1st article inspection reports * Experience with NADCAP and working to the ISO 9001 and ISO 5001 Standards * Previous experience withing the aerospace sector and experience of machining/ fabrications and treatments * Chemical and special processes knowledge * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Able to work with limited supervision and have good attention to detail Qualifications and Skills are required for the Quality Inspector role: An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable.
