Our Mission / Ethos * Working as part of a professional team to promote and provide the highest standard of care for young people. * Communicating effectively with children and young people and understand and empathise with their needs * Empowering young people to grow into confident and resourceful young adults who understand and take responsibility for their own behaviours * Communicate effectively with multi agencies within the social care sector, ensuring the transparency of the company is delivered consistently throughout the company. * Offering advice, guidance and signpost to other organisations they can access. * A good understanding of current government legislation. * Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour. * Knowledge of the main issues effecting young people today. * Supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. * Helping promote a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment for the young people. * Providing practical and emotional support to young people. * Demonstrating empathy, compassion, resilience and positive parenting skills even under challenging conditions. * Work closely with young people, their families and professionals. * Organising and facilitating social activities and health appointments. * Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping etc.). * You MUST be organised, committed and passionate about the work you do.
