Engineering Shift Manager Food Manufacturing Shropshire 360 Recruitment are looking for an Engineering Shift Manager for a Food Manufacturers. Responsibilities includes leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that machinery and equipment run efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with safety and food production standards. The Shift Manager plays a key role in coordinating maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene. Manage and lead a team of engineers and technicians during the assigned shift, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently. Assign tasks, oversee performance, and provide guidance and support to staff during both routine maintenance and breakdown situations. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to the schedule, and report on shift performance and issues to senior management. Ensure all team members adhere to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations while performing their duties. Oversee and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. Lead the troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and automation issues that arise during the shift, working closely with the team to resolve them.
