Part Time Registered Psychologist - Exciting Opportunity in Preston
Location: Preston
Salary: £13,200 - £16,133 per annum (FTE £45,000 - £55,000)
Hours: 11 hours per week
Position Type: Permanent, Part-Time
About the Role: Join a highly regarded hospital in Preston, known for its serene, recovery-focused residential care for up to 38 service users. Our client's psychological services address complex and challenging mental health issues, providing specialized interventions.
In this role, you'll work within their eating disorder and acute wards, developing and delivering tailored psychological treatments. Your focus will be on helping patients achieve their personal goals and optimal functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly one-on-one sessions with patients.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Engage in both direct and indirect clinical work.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team decision-making.
- Provide training and supervision to staff.
- Maintain effective communication with the clinical team, patients, and external agencies.
- Contribute to the evaluation and development of service quality.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Accredited with the HCPC.
- Proven experience in managing eating disorders.
- Skilled in group therapy facilitation.
- Strong organizational and independent working skills.
