Data Modeler

Quarry Consulting has an exciting opportunity for Data Modeler on contract for our one of the clients. Location: RemoteContract: 1 year with 2 years of possible extension Clearance: Need to have reliability clearance on hand or need to be in Canada since past 5 years to be eligible for it. Must have requirements: (No exception) Must have a bachelor's degree in software engineering or information technology or a combination of education and related experience.10+ years of experience in implementing data models for operational systems. This experience would be in roles and projects with increasing complexity in application.Must have experience as a Data Modeler with focus on developing operational databases, insurance knowledge preferred.Must have strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, in-depth knowledge of Third Normal Form (3NF) principles and database normalization.Must have Familiarity with document data modeling design.Experience developing data models with a relational database management system (RDBMS). With experience in at least one Cloud RDBMS, preferably Azure SQLAttention to detail and a commitment to deliver high-quality, well-documented data models (conceptual, logical and physical)Strong proficiency in Azure SQLExperience developing in cloud platforms (preferably MicrosoftAzure environment)Experience in developing microservices databases and strong knowledge of an event driven architecture.
