SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Role: Legal Assistant

As a valued member of our team, you’ll be entrusted with the accurate preparation of correspondence and legal documents and maintaining detailed and accurate client and administrative files.

Your days will be dynamic, filled with the satisfaction of managing and meeting deadlines, organizing meetings, filing documents with precision, assisting with client meetings, and maintaining open lines of communication with lawyers and other team members. In other words, you will be an integral part to ensuring the firm’s success.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

What you Bring

You bring significant administrative experience in a legal environment with preference given to those with formal education in the paralegal/legal assistant fields. Previous Experience in Real Estate, Corporate Commercial, Litigation and/or Labor and Employment are considered an asset.

You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to provide superior client service. Highly adept at MS Office (particularly Word and Excel), you also have strong proofreading, typing and dicta-transcription abilities. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational prowess, and time management abilities will help ensure your success in the role.

Personally, you thrive when given the opportunity to take initiative and work independently, but also value a workplace built on teamwork and collaboration.
