MAINTENANCE MANAGER - PERMANENT - OXFORDSHIRE

A research and development organisation are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the maintenance operations at a state-of-the-art research facility in Oxfordshire. This role oversees the smooth operation of complex systems across life sciences, energy infrastructure, agritech, and policy research environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including GMP in laboratory settings.
- Lead the implementation of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for optimal equipment performance.
- Develop Planned Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs.
- Manage the calibration and validation of critical research instruments.
- Oversee the operation of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure energy efficiency and control of environmental systems.
- Supervise mechanical, electrical, and renewable energy systems.
- Drive security and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with researchers and facility managers to align maintenance with research goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in maintaining pharmaceutical, life sciences, energy, and agricultural research facilities.
- Extensive experience in cross-disciplinary team leadership.
- Familiarity with GMP, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Proficiency with CMMS for large facilities.
Preferred:
- Certifications in GMP, NEBOSH, or CFM.
- Experience with renewable energy systems.
