This position is eligible for remote work within Canada.  About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Network/Systems Administrator to join our team providing support for an enterprise server and network environment. As a Network/Systems Administrator you will be the first point of contact for network-related service requests, responding to change requests and troubleshooting datacenter network-relates issues. You will also work with the Windows sysadmin team to assist with operations and related projects.   Key Responsibilities• Configure, maintain and support datacenter network infrastructure, including Cisco firewalls, switches and routers. • Respond to support tickets, troubleshooting network issues and implementing network changes. • Support Windows Server and VMware infrastructure. • Monitor server and network health and uptime. • Work closely with project teams and vendors to assist with planning and implementation of IT projects. • Provide after-hours support in a 24/7 on call rotation.Required• Experience as a Network/Systems Administrator or similar role.• Experience configuring and managing firewall rules. • Experience configuring and managing Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications and Experience• 3+ years' experience managing Cisco firewalls and security policies. • CCNA, CCNP, Network+ certification or equivalent experience.• Microsoft Windows Server or Azure certification. • Experience with VMware, SAN Storage, Citrix. Please note – some of MYRA’s customers require our team members to be fully vaccinated to provide support.All submissions must include both a cover letter and current resume.
