The company is now entering a new and exciting phase of development. They are now looking to recruit an Internal Technical Sales Representative to support the business on a permanent basis. The Job You’ll be Doing * Analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions to meet their specific requirements. * Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations. * Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products. * Deliver product presentations to customers. * Handling inbound customer and representative sales calls * Answer inbound calls; take messages or redirect calls to the appropriate department * Ensure orders are entered on time and accurately into the ERP system * Provide technical training to sales team members to enhance their understanding of the company’s products and improve their selling techniques. * Create and maintain technical documentation, product datasheets, and application notes to support sales and marketing efforts. * Develop sale strategies, identifying opportunities, and closing deals. * Provide technical assistance during pre-sales and post-sales interactions to address customer inquiries effectively. * Basic RMA/Handoff and customer complaint administration * Sales inbox triage About You * Previous internal technical sales experience is required. * A background working in manufacturing or engineering is essential. * Experience of working with technical documents and drawings. * Experience of working with an ERP system. * Able to provide customers with quotations and other pricing information. * Ability to calculate percentages, discounts, interest, proportions. * Highly IT literate. * Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. * Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities. * Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and industry events
