Service Administrator

Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is assisting in the recruitment of a Parts Administrator for an established and respected independent garage, based in the Gravesend area. The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis and would suit a person who is experienced with Customer Service and detailed Administration duties. Relaxed, professional, and friendly environment to work in, and in a place where the garage owners really do value their staff. Hours of work are: 8.30 to 6pm - Monday to Friday (with 1 hour lunch break) Every 3rd Saturday (8.30 to 1pm) Closed on Bank Holiday weekends and between Christmas and New Year Responsibilities * Taking customer service and repair bookings over the phone and in person * Checking in / out all vehicles * Inputting data on to a bespoke CRM system * Explaining and advising customers of any additional required works * Raising invoices, creating estimates, and other associated paperwork * Ordering parts and organising goods in * Following up and providing progress reports to customers * Welcoming and greeting visitors * Occasional moving of vehicles around the site (Full, Clean driving licence is essential) * The occasional tea & coffee making Experience Required * Great communication and influencing skills * Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to build a strong rapport with customers * High levels of accuracy and an ability to multi-task * A friendly, empathetic, and efficient attitude * The ability to work well individually and with a team to achieve goals * The ability to learn new computer systems quickly and effectively * Previous experience gained from working in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential What’s in it or you? * A Competitive salary * A very friendly and supportive environment * Private Medical Insurance (after 1 years’ service) * Never having to work a Bank Holiday again!
