Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading larger client engagements, managing project teams, and delivering high-quality reports and analysis. You will also contribute to the development of sustainable client relationships and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage larger client engagements, including determining project scope and resourcing requirements, monitoring progress, and reviewing work completed by junior team members.
  • Scope, prepare, and review reports and documents using PowerPoint, and prepare and review analysis in Excel.
  • Contribute to the management of the project team on a day-to-day basis, including responsibility for briefing, supervising, and developing junior staff.
  • Deliver complete reports that include focused conclusions and recommendations.
  • Assist Partners, Directors, and Associate Directors in the development of existing and new service stream practices.
  • Contribute to the successful development of sustainable client relationships, including liaising with clients on matters concerning risk management, progress, and monitoring information flows.
  • Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across the firm with different departments.
  • Ensure client feedback is captured, addressed, and effectively communicated to the project manager/director.
  • Identify and recognise new project and business opportunities, and inform the project director or partner as appropriate.
  • Support the conversion of opportunities into chargeable work, including pitch participation.
  • Act as an ambassador of the firm, participate in marketing events, and keep abreast of the wide range of services the firm offers.
  • Support recruitment, retention, motivation, and learning and development of the Transaction Services team, acting as a role model to more junior staff.
  • Seek and take action on feedback, and deliver honest and timely feedback to colleagues.

Requirements

  • Thorough working knowledge of Transaction Services activities.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience.
  • Previous staff supervision or management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • For those involved in Capital Markets transactions, a good knowledge of the relevant legislation.
  • Self-starting individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates a pro-active approach to their continuous development.
