This position is available for September 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year.

Role Overview: As a German & Spanish Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective German & Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3/4. You will have the opportunity to inspire a love for language learning and support students in achieving their full potential in German & Spanish. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards and excellent results of this school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality German & Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3/4.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to share best practices and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching German & Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to the ethos and values of the school.
