Regional Insurance Surveyor Based in Lancashire- Remote Working £43,000 to £45,000 + Car Allowance of £4,800 Our client who are a leading Insurance Management provider specialising within Insurance Claims are looking to recruit a Regional Insurance Surveyor to assess damage for building insurance claims. This position would be covering an area within a two hour radius of the successful Regional Insurance Surveyors home address based in Lancashire. The successful Regional Insurance Surveyor will visit policy holders addresses 2 to 3 times per week, the remainder of the week would be working from home. The purpose of this Surveying position is to assess damage for buildings insurance claims to determine whether claims should be accepted or declined. Providing technical support for building damage elements of claims to the claim’s handlers within the business. Job role: * Visit risk addresses and make claim assessments (validity of the claim quantum of loss) * Assessing damage for buildings insurance claims * Providing technical support for building damage elements of claims * Carry out audits for the local contractor assistant by the supply chain manager * Evaluate customer building claims * Liaising with building contractors to review contract variation and/or interim payments * Provide technical support within the surveying team on building repairs * Work alongside other Surveyors or Estimators when necessary * Validating customer invoices/quotations using Xactware Skills needed: * Surveying experience within insurance claims * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * The ability to manage your own diary * A full UK clean driving licence If this is a position that you would like to discuss in more detail, please contact Hills Consultants or apply online
