- Develop, participate in, maintain, and improve an industrial engineering strategy;
- Participate in developing the sequence of production activities for assembly stations;
- Be responsible for balancing labor needs according to organizational needs with the participation of the team, defining work standards, balancing, and configuring positions and the assembly line to accommodate different cadence changes, analyze and make observations and take measurements to determine the ratios of value-added activities;
- Participate in the development of hour budgets based on aircraft configurations;
- Evaluate and propose key indicators to measure assembly process productivity and performance measurement;
- Identify and propose improvement projects as well as participate and lead Kaizen workshops with the aim of solving problems and finding solutions, while involving team members able to develop strategies solutions for industrial engineering;
- Develop work charts, anteriority diagrams, sequence of operations, performance calculation, development of labor needs, material flow analysis, work measurement, acceleration and decrease in rate, etc.
- You hold a Technical or a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
- You have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
- You are very good at communication and interpersonal relations (French and English)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- You have an ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks
- You master industrial engineering techniques as well as value-added concepts
- You are recognized as having a high level of initiative, autonomy, innovation in addition to having good practical sense
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools including MS Project
- You master diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
