In joining us you will actively participatein this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.Responsibilities :As a Module Design Engineer, you will work on the conception, design, development, prototyping and industrialization of battery module components and assemblies. You will be involved in: Defining requirements for componentsDesign in CAD/CAO and drawingsDeveloping battery module design conceptsSelection of materialsWorking with suppliers to source and develop componentsDesign for manufacturing and assemblySupporting prototype buildsTesting of components, materials and innovative designsManaging and supporting suppliers through industrialization of componentsYou will also have the opportunity to: Gain a greater understanding of battery cell manufacturing and designWork in a hands-on R&D environmentPrerequisites :Experience in mechanical design of components (automotive, aerospace or equivalent industries)Experience in CAD/CAO (Catia, Solidworks or equivalent)Strong mechanical aptitudeExperience in design for manufacturing and assemblyUnderstanding of common manufacturing process (machining, stamping, injection moulding, casting, welding or similar)Professional English level (a large part of the team doesn’t speak French and the company communication are done in English)Ability to work independentlyStrong communication to discuss complex topics both internally and with external suppliers and partnersExperience with electrical assemblies is a plus (PCB, FPC etc.)Experience with batteries is a plusExperience in automotive is a plusWhy join us?Strong company spirit and culture settle down around our 4 values:ContributionWe promote personal initiative and give everyone the means to contribute to the company's success.CommunicationWe're committed to transparent communication: we say what we think, and we mean what we say.Team SpiritEveryone, in their role, is an ambassador for the company.
