Plumbing Estimator

Our Fife based client,who are well established in the Construction industry, require a Plumbing Estimator to join their team. You will be responsible for cost calculations for Plumbing projects to determine how much it will cost the company to complete a project or provide products and services to its clients. Key duties will include: Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors, project managers, engineers and suppliers. Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame Assessing the risk levels associated with a project Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs Conducting site visits when required.To be suitable for this role you will have the following key skills and experience: Proven experience in an Estimating role (Ideally plumbing related) Knowledge of the construction/trades industry Valid driver's license Self-motivated Ability to present technical and complex information in a simplified manner. Reliable, detailed oriented, highly organised, and capable of handling several tasks Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skillsIn return you will receive a salary of up to £45k + excellent benefits package, support and training.
