Compensation: $22.50- $27.50/ hr

Position Summary
The Electronic Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and testing of printed circuit boards and selected electronic equipment. This position acts as the primary resource for all repair and return to service activities, as assigned to specific systems. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Shops.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and repair on printed circuit boards and related electronic equipment to the component level.
Perform sub assembly and final assembly on a wide range of electronic and robotic components and devices.
Refer to and follow prescribed procedures and testing instructions related to specified systems and types of equipment being repaired.
Complete repairs based on prescribed procedures and testing and document work actions in computer system.
Document work actions in appropriate computer system and/or via other authorized method of record-keeping.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associates Degree or Certification in Electronic Engineering/Technology preferred
Experience performing component-level troubleshooting and repair for printed circuit boards and/or related hardware/systems
Telecommunications hardware/board experience preferred;
Ability to work both with and without schematics/documentation preferred
Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience with printed circuit boards and selected electronic equipment preferred
Experience using hand solder components, fixtures, etc., without damaging equipment preferred
Experience using MS Office and other computer software programs.
