**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, corporations and trusts.
**Duties:**
- Prepare federal, provincial and GST returns
- Preparation of financial statements
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure accurate reporting
- Assist with audits and communicate with tax authorities on behalf of clients
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
**Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA designation preferred
- 2 -3 years of public practice experience in preparing Canadian tax returns and financial statements
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Caseware, and TaxPrep or similar tax software
- Strong communication and analytical skills to analyze financial data and provide insights
- Ability to invest time in understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions
