Could you be part of our team? Trust Housing Association has an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join our team at Greenock. You will join us on a part time contract of 20 hours per week, and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £12.25 - £12.50 per hour. As a Cook your duties would involve menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant. In return for your enthusiasm and commitment we will offer you: -  20 hours per week on a 2 week rolling rota, Tuesday/Saturday/Sun-Week 1 & Thurs/Fri–Week 2 No unsociable hours, dayshifts worked between 9.15am & 6.15pm with a 1-hour unpaid break Competitive hourly rate of £12.25 - £12.50 Generous holiday entitlement Ongoing paid training and personal development Paid candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland Opportunity for additional hours covering for holidays, training & other staff absences.    What we’re looking for in our Cook:  Here at Trust Housing, we are dedicated to making a real difference in caring and supporting people with their everyday lives. You must be able in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage. You will help to keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently while ensuring you follow food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures. Here at St Margaret’s Court, we support older tenants with a variety of different needs.
