We're looking for you to join our team as a Hybrid Director, Indigenous Trusts in Toronto, ON. We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. We need talented, passionate professionals who are dedicated to doing what’s right for our clients.As the Director, Indigenous Trusts at CIBC Trust, you will lead and oversee the Indigenous Trusts Team, ensuring the effective operation and achievement of business goals. You may also manage a small, complex portfolio. Your role involves providing strategic direction, fostering a proactive client service environment, and driving team engagement. Reporting to the Executive Director & COO, you will be directly accountable for business deliverables and the overall success of the Indigenous Trusts Team.How You'll Succeed:Client Engagement: Support Indigenous market growth and enhance client experience by collaborating with the Indigenous Banking – Trust Services Team, addressing client concerns, and mentoring the team on technical aspects. Identify and address systemic issues to mitigate risk.Collaboration: Partner with internal experts in Investment Management and Tax to guide client investment and tax matters. Build strong relationships across CIBC, including Indigenous Banking, Commercial Banking, and external service providers.Relationship Building: Work closely with Executive Trust Officers to align account management with client needs and ensure satisfaction.Technical Expertise: Stay updated on legislative changes, industry trends, and technological advancements.
