POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a National Sales Representative based preferably in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This position has responsibility for the overall sales and profitability for our automatic and sliding door business in the Canadian market. The National Sales Representative develops a sales strategy to drive profit growth, maximize customer satisfaction, develop a consistent stream of repeat business, and to drive expanded growth. This role involves business development, lead cultivation, and account management.

*This is a remote position based in Canada*

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop a territory plan and account plans to manage the assigned territory
  • Locate and develop new project sales opportunities through data mining, incoming emails, and customer calls
  • As a strategic product specialist and trusted advisor, act as a consultant to determine and recommend the proper products for customers’ applications and requirements
  • Create project cost/price estimates to meet project bidding deadlines and pricing strategy based on competitive market dynamics
  • Identify prospective customers and ensure that quotations are submitted to all of those bidding entities

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 50%+ travel required (including training and business meetings)
  • 3+ years of sales experience

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Bachelor’s or Technical degree
  • 5+ years of industry experience/automatic door knowledge
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce)
