Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client in Calgary is seeking a highly organized and meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk with experience in QuickBooks and intermediate Excel skills to join their finance department on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development.Responsibilities:Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficientlyMatch invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper authorization and documentationReconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely mannerAssist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliationsCommunicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoicing issues and inquiriesMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and filesAssist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as neededQualifications:2+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar positionIntermediate to advanced Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tablesExperience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAvailable to start immediatelyTo be considered for this contract role, click the “Apply Now!” link or by using the Robert Half mobile app. Download it on the App Store or get it on Google Play today!
