Contract Manager | Islington, London | Remote, with regular visits to delivery centres and stakeholder meetings as required | Full Time | £28,000 per annum to £30,000 per annum Prevista have been giving people what they need to succeed since 1996. In this role you will be pivotal in enhancing the financial performance of the organisation by effectively managing contracts, optimising revenue, and reducing costs. Under the guidance of the Head of Business Development, this role ensures strategic alignment of contracts with the organisation’s growth objectives and collaborates closely with the bid writing team to secure new opportunities. Are you the right person for the job? Minimum of 5 years in contract management, with significant emphasis on financial outcomes, business development, and bid management. Exceptional negotiation, financial acumen, and strategic planning capabilities. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management. Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related field. Professional certifications in contract management or business development are advantageous What will your role look like? Collaborate with the Head of Business Development to identify and exploit new contracting opportunities that boost income and improve profitability. Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, focusing on negotiating terms that maximise financial benefits and minimise costs. Monitor the financial performance of contracts to ensure they meet or exceed goals related to profitability and efficiency. Conduct detailed compliance audits to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. Actively seek out and develop new income streams through strategic contracting and exploring new market opportunities. Work closely with the bid writing team to prepare and submit bids and proposals, ensuring they are robust, competitive, and aligned with strategic business objectives. Assess potential financial risks associated with contract provisions and operations; develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate these risks. Strategically advise on and implement cost reduction measures across contracts. Provide comprehensive financial and performance reports to the Head of Business Development, highlighting initiatives that enhance income, reduce costs, and the outcomes of bid submissions. Analyse contract trends and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions and support business growth.
