Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Welder with a strong background in welding steel structures, particularly balustrades, and handling steel thicknesses up to 50mm. Please note, experience solely in sheet metal welding will not be sufficient for this role, as we require expertise in heavier steel fabrication. Key Responsibilities: * Perform high-quality welding on structural steel components, including balustrades and other metal structures. * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to execute accurate welds. * Weld steel up to 50mm in thickness, ensuring strong and reliable joins. * Ensure all welding activities meet the company’s quality and safety standards. * Collaborate with other fabricators and engineers to complete projects on time and within budget. * Perform welding tasks both in-house and on-site as required. * Maintain welding equipment and ensure it operates efficiently. Requirements: * Proven experience in welding steel structures, particularly balustrades. * Competence in welding steel thicknesses up to 50mm. * Ability to read and work from engineering drawings. * Experience in heavy steel fabrication is essential—candidates with only sheet metal welding experience need not apply. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. * Relevant welding certifications are an advantage. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
