**Head of Management Accounting and Financial Reporting**
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our management accounting function and drive forward the financial planning and reporting function within a public body.
The role requires a strong analytical and numerical background, with significant experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the annual accounting cycle, including financial and statutory reporting
- Providing high-quality financial advice and support to each directorate
- Ensuring the GMC's strategic and operational needs are met
The ideal candidate will have full membership of an accounting body recognised by the Financial Reporting Council and significant experience in a management accounting function.
