This exciting new role will help lead the definition and management of our new next generation cloud enabled products.In this role, you will work with your Product Management colleagues to help define and execute our strategic BlackBerry QNX cloud enablement roadmap to complement our suite of foundation edge products in the automotive and general embedded markets. Cloud enablement of our products is a key pillar of our strategic roadmap, and this role is a ground-floor opportunity to build something great.To be successful in this role, you should have strong technical, business, and organizational skills with a proven ability to engage internally and externally with multiple stakeholders successfully. The ability to articulate and manage at the conceptual level as well as to dive deep into the solution details when required are important success factors for this role. This role will bring the opportunity to work closely with our customers wherever they are in their cloud adoption journey.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the full lifecycle of our new Cloud enabled products and related services.Drive the go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new products and lead successful execution of this plan across functional teams.In conjunction with our marketing team, develop positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and partners to drive business capture and thought leadership.Work closely with Engineering, Legal, Finance and other groups to manage the BlackBerry QNX cloud product releases from inception to general availability, participating and leading cross-functional initiatives as requiredAssess our target market and identify opportunities using market research, segmentation analysis and 1:1 customer and partner interviews.Perform competitive analysis on an ongoing basis.Assisting in the development of business case justification and financials to support investments in the cloud-enabled portfolioPrime for Webinars, tradeshows, customer / prospect tours, other outbound eventsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of product management experience related to Cloud (AWS, GPC or Azure) Bachelors or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program5+ years of product management experience related to Automotive electronic systems and/or other mission critical embedded devicesExperience in cloud enablement of edge productsAbility to clearly articulate product requirements and prioritize enhancement requestsStrong experience with public cloud (AWS, GPC or Azure) products and servicesKnowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, finance and marketingDemonstrated experience communicating and presenting to C-Suite and technical subject matter experts across an organizationADDITIONAL ASSETSProven ability to work and engage with world-class engineering talentKnowledge of embedded OS, Hypervisor and Development tools software and related functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508) and/or security standards (e.g. ISO 21434)Strong verbal, written, project management, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong customer service orientation are requiredStrong technical background to be able to successfully engage with automotive and general embedded customersScheduled Weekly Hours:40
