HGV Fitter

Logical Personnel is recruiting in behalf of a leading Industrial Services company. Due to increased workload, reflecting the company’s growth in the waste-to-energy sector, my client is looking for: x2 Workshop Fitters (HGV & Plant) to based out of their Scunthorpe depot. Role Overview Maintain and repair a fleet of machines, comprising of a fleet of up to 30 machines and vehicles, including Disab machines, high-pressure water jetting equipment, HGVs, and commercial vans. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently. * Vehicle inspections. * General servicing and pre-planned maintenance. * Reactive maintenance as required. * MOT preparation / Presentation. * Correction of running defects. Required Experience * Be a qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications * Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair * Auto Electrical, Welding and tail lift maintenance experience would be beneficial but not essential * A Commercial vehicle driving licence is a benefit for this role On Offer: * Competitive salary * Overtime and call-out pay at enhanced rates. * Fully expensed van provided for work use. * 30 days annual leave and company pension scheme.
