Position: Mobile Engineer Location: Sevenoaks + 10 miles surrounding radius Salary: £12.10 to £14.14 Hours: Approximately 48hrs per week (Mon to Thurs or Tues to Fri (12 hrs/day) Company van with fuel card & tools Our client is a recognised global leader for the supply of retail & airport Trolleys, Shop Fitting Solutions, Logistics & Industry products and a large range of associated services. They employ circa 650 staff throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. We are recruiting for a Mobile Engineer to cover Sevenoaks plus a 10 mile surrounding radius. The Role: You will be responsible for working from a mobile engineering van, carrying out trolley fleet wash & repairs, inspection & repair to mobility scooters & trolley retrieval equipment, inspection & repair of logistics cages & airport trolleys. You will be responsible for inputting data into a hand held computerised device & complete end of job reports, timesheets & other documentation. You will have: A full driving licence, with minimal endorsements A good understanding of mechanical fitting, use of hand & electric tools & the ability to liaise effectively with customers The ability to MIG weld to a competent standard (desirable, as training provided) An understanding of safe manual handling techniques The ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised Competency with technology eg.
