Care Home Manager

Position: CARE HOME MANAGER Location: HUNTINGDON, CAMBRIDGESHIRE Salary: c£38K - £40K PER ANNUM – PRO RATA Hours: PART TIME or FULL TIME Home: Small - Medium Sized Elderly & Dementia Care Home Job Description: An experienced and proficient individual is required to manage this established Residential Care Home in the Cambridgeshire area. This particular service is known for their high level of personalised care and friendliness. As Registered Home Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the home. Your key responsibilities will centre around management of staff, care delivery to residents, recruitment, training and ensuring that the home is run in accordance with company and CQC policies. Job Requirements: * Overall responsibility of the home * Staff management - maintaining the team / appraisals / training * Care plans / reviews / meetings / budgets * Reporting to Directors/Owners - be able to work autonomously * Be a role model for staff and service users Skills / Qualifications: * NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards * Proven track record of successful home or deputy management * Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards * Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff * Experienced Deputy Manager’s looking to progress will also be considered * Full time or Part Time Role – hours to suit Benefits: * Salary c£38K per Annum – Pro Rata * The chance to make a positive difference to yourself and others * Fantastic opportunity to join a well respected and established Elderly & Dementia Care Home with an excellent reputation
